I did not know this family, but live in the parish and have felt the heart break. I can not tell you how much this tragedy has affected my family so much. I have taken each day slower, stopped and hugged and kissed my girls in passing, spoke a little quieter instead of screaming, read books instead of Facebook, played board games instead of ipods, and looked at pictures of them as babies together. Strict bedtimes are not as important and work stops before dark so we can play outside. Our Angels are just gifts from God that we can not keep forever. Your two beautiful angels will now watch over you and keep each other company. I keep you and your families in my prayers each night that you will find peace where there is pain and fulfillment one day where there is a hole. Just know that you have many praying for you and protesting the road until there are changes. May your beautiful babies rest in peace in Heaven.
